This is an exciting addition for our event this year, a display of scale radio controlled tanks and military vehicles courtesy of local group Independent Armour!
Representative Adrian Harris confirmed the booking, and explained “The tanks are 1/6th scale (Action Man sized, for those that remember him), constructed from steel and aluminium, fully radio controlled, with sound and smoke effects to increase their realism.
We don’t perform battles as such but run them throughout the day to entertain ourselves and the viewing public.
Independent Armour are not a club as such but a group of friends who share an interest in the modelling, engineering, operation and history of these vehicles.”
